Ask ten agencies "how much do you cost?" and you'll get ten different numbers, because the question is really three questions bundled into one: what model are you paying under, how much of the work is being done for you versus with you, and how senior is the person actually directing it.

The three common pricing models

ModelHow it worksWatch out for
Fixed retainerA set monthly fee for a defined scope of workVague scope — "marketing support" isn't a deliverable
Project feeA one-off price for a fixed deliverable (site, brand, campaign build)Scope creep after the brief is signed off
% of ad spendA management fee calculated as a percentage of what you spend on mediaCan quietly incentivise spending more, not spending better

There's no universal UK figure that applies to all three models at once — a fixed retainer for one narrow channel and a project fee for a full brand-and-site build are simply not the same purchase.

What actually moves the price

  • Ad spend under management — auditing and optimising £2k/month in Meta spend is a different job to £20k/month across three platforms.
  • Number of channels — Meta only vs. Meta + Google + LinkedIn changes the workload directly.
  • Strategy vs. execution — a junior account handler running ads is priced differently to a senior strategist directing the whole system and being accountable for the result.
  • Reporting and cadence — weekly plain-English reporting takes real time; it isn't free to include.

How we price our own services

We're a new, deliberately small agency — we don't publish a fixed rate card because the honest price depends on scope, and a rate card that ignores that isn't "no fluff," it's just a different kind of fluff. What we can tell you plainly:

  • Paid Ads — priced as a fixed monthly retainer scaled to ad spend and channel count, not a flat percentage of spend.
  • Funnels — typically a project fee for the build, with an optional ongoing optimisation retainer.
  • Creative Systems — a retainer scaled to testing volume (how many ad variations we're producing and testing per month).
  • Growth Systems — a retainer for reporting, optimisation and strategic direction, usually layered on top of an existing Paid Ads or Funnels engagement.
  • Overseas PPC Management — a fixed monthly retainer for senior oversight hours, scaled to the size of your existing team, not a percentage of spend.

Our pricing is transparent and performance-focused. We work with a limited number of clients to keep the work sharp. Book a strategy call to discuss your budget and goals and we'll give you a straight answer, not a range designed to sound cheap on a landing page.
